What is an Emergency?

Dental problems are classified as emergencies if you are experiencing:

Bleeding
Acute pain
Acute swelling
If you have experienced a severe dental injury

We take part in a cover rota for our own regular patients in the event of emergencies out of normal surgery hours, which is available by ringing a dedicated mobile telephone number as follows:

5.30 pm to 9.30 pm weekdays and
9am to 9.30 pm weekends and bank holidays

The mobile number for the on-call dentist is given on our voicemail message when you ring 01905 757400 out of hours.

Please note the dentist you see may not be your own, and you may be asked to pay an emergency callout fee of up to £95 in addition to the cost of the treatment
