What is an Emergency?

Dental problems are classified as emergencies if you are experiencing:

Bleeding
Acute pain
Acute swelling

or if you have experienced a severe dental injury

We provide our own practice-based cover for our own regular patients in the event of emergencies out of normal surgery hours, which is available by ringing our dedicated mobile telephone number as follows:

5pm to 8pm weekdays and
10am to 2pm weekends and bank holidays

The mobile number for the on-call dentist is given on our voicemail message when you ring 01905 757400 out of hours.

Please note you may be asked to pay an emergency callout fee of up to £90 in addition to the cost of the treatment.
